The one thing Benny takes great pride in, is all of the wonderful friends that he has.  In the kitchen, Benny has two very close friends that help him through out the show; Timmy the Timer and  Boxy the recipe box.

Benny also has lots of other friends that help him around the kitchen, as well as a few friends that can sometimes cause a little trouble.

 

Boxy
Benny's extra special friend is Boxy the recipe box. Boxy is Benny's inspiration, and comes up with lots of great recipes for Benny to try in the kitchen.  Boxy also collects lots of the fun recipes that Benny receives from boys & girls, and likes to share these recipes with Benny during each show.

 

Timmy the Timer
Timmy the Timer, is also one of Benny's close friends.  He helps to keep an eye on what's cooking, and makes sure that it doesn't go to long or to short without Benny checking on the item.

 

Samuel (Sammy)
Benny's favorite little brother, Sammy, is always hanging around the kitchen with Benny.  Samuel loves to get into trouble, and can be a real treat for Benny to look after.  Samuel loves to help Benny cook dishes in the kitchen, and Benny tries extra hard to teach Samuel how to eat and play correctly.

 
Ms. Molly
Ms. Molly is a delightful little mole, that lives next door to Benny, and who has quite a green thumb in the garden.  She visits Benny often with gifts of fresh produce from her garden for Benny to cook with, and discusses the benefits of eating fresh, naturally grown fruits and vegetables.

 
Louie the Production Assistant Chef
Touching hot ovens and using sharp tools is a No-no for kids.  That is why even Benny has a grown-up chef on the set to help him with things that can be dangerous.  Louie is the helping set of hands that assists Benny anytime something needs to be cut or cooked.  Louie takes it off set, and then brings it back when it is all done.

 
Bloom
Bloom is Benny's beautiful flower friend who shares words of wisdom and thought through out the show.  She helps to teach the others on the show to slow down, and think problems through.  She is always available to help with great advice.

 

Shucks
Shucks is one of the many cartoon characters that joins Benny during his shows to talk about food.  Shucks makes his first appearance in Benny's Kitchen during the filming of Benny's second episode; Being Corny in the Kitchen.

 
The Wildberry Brothers
These two wild and crazy berry brothers make a quick cameo appearance in Benny's Kitchen episode 1; Berry Fest.

 

Chip
Chip, is one of Benny's Story Time friends.  Chip has many wonderful adventures that teach him the importance of listening & learning. You can check out some of Chip's stories in Benny's Buddies Story Time.
